missingWrote a review on Nov 30closed poollack of maintenance
Unfortunately, our experience was marred by the lack of maintenance at the property. The pool and jacuzzi were closed, which was a significant disappointment since we had planned to use them. Additionally, there were no staff around to assist us during our visit, making us feel neglected and unwelcome.

i really wanted to love my stay, but the handicap room was utterly lacking, who designs a bathroom without a place for toothpaste? also, i guess i was supposed to feel special but no one even told us the pool was closed until we complained! so dissapointing, i almost gave a good review, but just couldn’t.

central access to parks and local dining spots
during my stay, I loved that it was only a short walk to the charming Kewaunee Pierhead Lighthouse and just around the corner from a few wonderful restaurants, like Kunkels Korner, which made exploring the area a breeze and really enhanced my weekend experience.

Had an awesome time with friends! The hotel was super clean, and the staff were friendly. We loved exploring the nearby bike trails and checking out local dining spots. Breakfast was a delightful spread, especially the cinnamon rolls. Would definitely recommend hitting up the harbor area and checking out the Ahnapee bike trail right outside.
One downside was that the photos online didn’t match the actual decor of the rooms, which felt a bit dated but still cozy.

Comfortable lakeside adventures await
The lodge felt like a hidden gem, with access to the tranquil Ahnapee bike trail right outside. The rooms were impeccably clean, providing a cozy retreat after active days exploring Kewaunee.
While the location was superb, the decor appeared slightly outdated, leaving me longing for a fresher ambiance. Nevertheless, the hospitality truly shone through.

Had a great time with friends! The breakfast was awesome, especially those fresh cinnamon rolls. We enjoyed biking the Ahnapee trail and visiting Kewaunee Pierhead Lighthouse, which was just a short walk away. The rooms were clean and comfortable, really perfect for a group getaway.
However, the pool was closed during our stay, which was a bummer since we were looking forward to a relaxing dip after our excursions.

The nearby bike trail was a real highlight for us. We enjoyed riding along the scenic route and then unwinding in our comfy room after our adventures out on the lake. The location really made our family vacation memorable.
My wife says that the bathroom could use more space for kid essentials.

Clean and modern accommodations spark comfort, with bike trails directly accessible from the lodge and proximity to the harbor for beautiful views. Grilled meat options at nearby dining spots added to the experience, enhancing the outdoor adventure vibe. However, the decor felt a bit outdated despite the overall coziness, and the noise from adjacent rooms was noticeable, which occasionally interrupted relaxation. Limited parking spaces were another minor inconvenience, making it a little tricky during peak hours.
